Q: What is the Beava Spiked Roller?
A: It’s a 500mm spiked roller designed to eliminate air pockets and ensure smooth finishes in self-leveling compounds.
Q: Why do I need to remove air bubbles from my leveling compound?
A: When self-levelling compound is poured, tiny air pockets can get trapped inside. If they’re not released:
Air pockets weaken the mix, creating soft spots that may crumble under tiles.
They can rise and leave pinholes in the surface once the compound sets.
Pinholes or voids can cause poor adhesive bonding, risking tile failure down the line.
On visible finishes, bubbles leave an uneven, ugly surface instead of that glass-smooth look.
